¡Ciao mondo!

London brings us great proposals, which stands out above all for a big change in trends. Ready for a review?

Alexa Chung

It’s been two years since it-girl decided to create her own brand, and this has been her second year at the foot of the catwalk.
In this collection we see voluminous garments with flounces made of leather, satin or denim. Dresses with floral prints with herringbone suits, yellow square prints on cloth, and a set of corduroy trousers and sweater. To crown the parade, the use of velvet with lace details, creating a vintage air that it-girl likes so much.
The most striking aspect of her collection has been the inspiration of the designer: a dystopian and post-apocalyptic universe where women try to survive after being locked in a bunker during a nuclear war.

Burberry

Riccardo Tisci is inspired by the contrasts of British culture and climate. The garments have a streetwear cut and ninety silhouettes, which undoubtedly move away from the brand’s line. If we go back to Burberry, we find suits in shades of beige, gabardine and the famous check print. Grunge inspiration in asymmetrical patterns, non-structured striped polo dresses, sporty jackets and touches of lace and satin in column dresses for a sober and elegant evening.

Victoria Beckham

The basic concept of the firm is to get women to dress in all aspects of life. For this reason, we find two-piece suits with tailored pencil skirts, loose dresses and rhombus sweaters, all with a seventy air, as in the printed scarf dresses and short sweaters with pointed shirt collars. For the evening, elegant and simple designs in black, which undoubtedly reflect the modern woman.

Emilia Wickstead

This brand has always been known for designing beautiful dresses, but this year, has joined the demand for fluidity of gender, but in a more original way: male models that parade with their garments.
The monkey has also been welcomed with great importance, in its different versions. The lantern sleeves are made of tops and flower dresses with deep V-necklines. As for prints, the leopard and the Prince of Wales reign supreme, but there is no doubt that plain colours such as brown, olive green or classic red are not abandoned.

¡Espero que os haya gustado!

¡Arrivederci!
